Is there an API for Simplified Chinese Pokémon cards?
Yes. The Master Setter Catalog API has 6,946 Simplified Chinese Pokémon TCG cards across 55 sets, with card and set names in Simplified Chinese, and 9,798 individual printings. Responses are JSON over HTTPS, and there is a remote MCP server for AI agents.
Are the card names in Simplified Chinese?
Yes. Names are stored exactly as printed (for example "船长 皮卡丘"), and set names include an English translation where one exists, so you can search in Simplified Chinese or map to English sets.
How much does it cost?
Simplified Chinese data is on the Indie plan ($29/month, 50,000 requests, commercial use OK) and above. Studio ($99/month) adds card images. The free tier covers English only.
Does it include every printing?
Yes: 1st Edition, unlimited, holo and reverse holo, stamped promos and other variants are modeled as separate printings (9,798 for Simplified Chinese). Paid plans can return a whole set with every printing inline in one or two calls.
